RDS Arena Dublin

The Background

The RDS arena is home to the Dublin Horse Show and Leinster Rugby. It is one of Europes busiest sports venues and is considered a Gold Level surface for showjumping. The RDS were conscious of keeping this status and engaged Hayden Turfcare to ensure the standards were met and the venue continued to attract world class riders.

Our Solution

Weekly management programme aimed to grow back the ends of the Arena following removal of the Rugby Seating

Guidance, tendering and supervision of annual renovation to manage annual meadowgrass and improve grass rooting

Performance testing pre and during the horse show, on site decision support for tuning all surfaces during the show

The Result

The RDS Arena in Dublin retains its Gold Level surface standard and rider confidence continues to encourage world class riders to the venue
